/> 2 tablespoons butter
1 clove garlic, minced
1 / 2 teaspoon salt
1 / 4 cup toasted almonds
4 boneless chicken breasts
1 package (8 ounces) fresh sliced ??mushrooms
1 can (10 ounces) condensed chicken broth
1 / 2 teaspoon pepper
parsley for garnish, if desired
Preparation begins 40 minutes before serving.
In a skillet over medium heat, melt butter and brown chicken breasts, garlic, almonds and sliced ??mushrooms, stirring occasionally, until browned. Add salt, pepper and chicken broth. Simmer, covered, for 30 minutes or until chicken is tender Mix cornstarch with a little water ?. stir in the liquid in a pan cook, stirring constantly, until thickened dish Garnish with parsley, if desired
